Hey there Rainbow Warriors, it's C.J.! Thanks for dropping by to visit! I identify as a lesbian soft butch if I have to label my orientation. My pronouns are she/her. I've been a fan of true crime stories for a long time, but have only discovered True Crime Podcasts within the last four or five years.
I have a beautiful 24 year old daughter and an array of fur babies. I worked with children for over half my life and loved it, but gratefully retired early to start a new journey in life, which has included living in Hawaii for a bit, podcasting and being the founder of my own podcast network (which is a lot more work than I thought it'd be but well worth it)!
My interests include crafting, cooking, music, Netflix, hiking, walking my dog, playing sports and board games. This is starting to sound like an ad for a dating site....I like long walks on the beach, sunsets and dancing in the rain! Ha! No really, I do like those things. And I love watching planes land and take off during sunset. I'm not sure why, but I have a fascination with planes. They are so...big and from further away, look so graceful in the air. I like flying a lot too, prior to Covid life. Since Covid, I've only been able to make online friends. I moved to Oregon last Thanksgiving and have zero friends here. I'd love to find a friend or two to hang out with! I miss having game nights, BBQs and playing sports with friends! Hell, I miss hugs!
What Makes My Day?
When I get a sweet message from a Rainbow Warrior. Or if I happen to look at my reviews and I get a 5 star from someone. I mean c'mon, who doesn't like a little appreciation now and again?
But if you have constructive criticism, please DM me with it. It is really hard on the self esteem to get a one star review with the comment "Just horrible narration" or "murder porn"... Those types of comments don't help me improve. "Horrible Narration" why? What needs to change? There was no more detail than that... "Murder Porn" What the fuck is murder porn? A snuff film with sex? And on Apple reviews I'm not allowed to respond to these comments. "hate the background music", comments like that are helpful because I can do something about it. "too many ads", it's how I make a tiny bit of revenue but at least with a comment like that I can address it and explain why. I can also recommend they become a Patreon Member where the episodes are ad free! Thanks!

Christopher needs Justice - The Man Who Killed Him Just Walk
Season 9 Episode 12
January 2020, newlywed Christopher McKinney was having a night out with some friends, as his husband was entertaining visiting friends from high school. Christopher and his friends when out to dinner and then to Nowhere Bar in Louisville, Kentucky for drinks and dancing. Christopher had gotten completely intoxicated, and although he was struggling to walk, he took himself to the coat check area to try and claim his jacket. But unfortunately he lost his claim ticket and the coat check girl called security. Security threw Christopher out and one security guard used a MMA style hit on Christopher, knocking him to the ground and killing him.
